Due to laziness, do you just chuck your nail polishes aside after using? Simply just twist the cap back and thought that was it?
No!!!! It's WRONG !!!! You will realise all your nail polishes will be dry, lumpy, cakey after few usage.
So what should be the correct way? I tried the following and YES!!! IT certainty work!!!
To prevent nail polishes from drying up and turning lumpy and cakey is to prevent the solvents in the nail polishes from evaporating. Thus, it's important to keep the nail polish container air-tight.
1) After each applications, clean the neck of the nail polish container with a cosmetic sponge with nail polish remover on it. **Imp: Clean the neck.
2)Twist the cap of the nail polish tightly to ensure that it is nicely seal.
3)Store the nail polish at cool and dry places away from sunlight.

Yes, It's true that storage of nail polish in the refrigerator prolonged the lifespan of the nail polish because the low surrounding temperatue will prevent evaporating. In addition, keeping the nail polish in the refridgerator will also slows down discoloration when the nail polish gets older.
However, there are also cons to that too. If you do not store the nail polishes in the refrigerator with a correct manner there will be a risk that the bottle will break. Keeping a flammable liquid(Nail polish) in a refrigerator that may have the chances to spark sounds dangerous though.
Thus..... Alternatively,
4) You may choose to store the nail polish in a Refrigerator to prolong the lifespan of the nail polish. However, if you do so, please remember to let the nail polish recover to room temperature before each usage.
